资源简介:
This survey is carried out on the basis of the research collaboration in "The International Social Survey Programme" (ISSP). ISSP is an international organisation that prepares and coordinates annual surveys in its member countries, mainly within the fields of political science and sociology. The topic of the surveys varies, but are repeated at intervals of a few years. In this way, changes in behavioral patterns and attitudes over time as well as differences between countries and cultures, are possible to be detected and measured. The Norwegian Social Science Data Services (NSD) became a member of ISSP in 1989 and have since been responsible for carrying out the surveys in Norway. In connection to the survey, Norwegian researchers are invited to add supplementary questions to the Norwegian respondents. In 1998, the survey's objective was to collect data on attitudes towards religion, religious socialisation, religious affiliation, faith and own religious practice, conceptions of faith, the relationship with and between religious and secular institutions, politics, moral and ethics, participation in voluntary work. NSD and ISSP conducted a similar survey in 1991. The Norwegian additional part was in 1998 developed in collaboration with Pål Repstad, Department of Social Science, Agder University College, Pål Ketil Botvar, The Centre for Church Research (KIFO)/DIAFORSK, Diakonhjemmet University College and Dag Stenvoll and Per Selle, Norwegian Centre for Research in Management, Organisation and Administration. The questions in the Norwegian part deal with New Age, attitudes towards environmental protection, attitudes towards abortion and euthanasia and political trust.
