Early life antibiotics-related susceptibility to house dust mite allergic airway disease

Assessment of the long-term impact of antibiotics (Abx) treatment on allergic airway inflammation, in mice that were exposed to house dust mite concurrent with Abx treatment. The effect was tested in both young and adult mice to assess the effect of maturity on Abx-associated allergy susceptibility. Mice were also treated with indole-3-propionic acid to determine its therapeutic potential in this context.
