ARG Prevalences in Field Aquaculture Water

AW samples were collected from the shrimp breeding pond in the vicinity of Ningbo, China. The raw metagenomic sequencing data were trimmed and filtrated FASTP v0.23.2 with default parameters. we evaluated 11 classes and 20 subtypes of ARGs. Sample 1 exhibited significantly higher ARG copies per cell, roughly 3.01fold greater than those in the second and third ponds. The primary types of ARGs present in Sample1 were beta lactam resistance genes , aminoglycoside resistance genes , and multidrug resistance genes , among which sul1, bacA, and aadA were the top prevalent subtypes.
