Global change alters the positions of plant winners and losers in community trait space This package contains the R scripts and example datasets required to reproduce the analyses presented in the manuscript. The repository is organized into two main folders: scripts/ Contains the two R scripts used in the study: - 01_compute_metrics.R: calculates functional and phylogenetic community assembly metrics, standardized effect sizes (SES), and null-model statistics. - 02_figures_and_models.R: generates the figures, summary statistics, and statistical models presented in the manuscript. data/ Contains the example datasets required to run the scripts. Files included: - raw_relcov.csv: example subset of the original vegetation relative cover dataset. This file is provided exclusively as a lightweight example to verify that the code runs correctly. - raw_experiment.csv: example experimental metadata corresponding to the vegetation subset. - corre2trykey_2021.csv: species name matching table linking species names in the vegetation dataset to standardized species names used in the TRY database. - scorre.phylo.tree.S3.tre: phylogenetic tree used for phylogenetic distance calculations. - all_results.csv: processed output generated by 01_compute_metrics.R and used as input for 02_figures_and_models.R. - metadata files describing the variables included in the datasets.
