This dataset is the spatially distributed data of remote sensing image classification and boundary delineation for forest vegetation types at a scale of 1:100,000 in Sichuan Province from 2013 to 2017. It is derived from the China Forest Vegetation Survey Project of the Research Institute of Forest Resources Information Techniques, Chinese Academy of Forestry. The project was developed based on partial historical vegetation distribution maps, forest distribution maps, 2012 TM data, 1990s TM data, field plot survey data and other relevant materials, and was strictly processed in accordance with the relevant regulations of *Specification for Forest Vegetation Classification, Survey and Mapping* (2019). The data is stored in vector format, with attribute fields including forest order subgroup, forest order, forest series group and other related items. It has a map scale of 1:100,000, and provides data support for forest resource investigation, planning and design and other related work.
