Reportable diseases since 2002

<p>On January 1, 2001, the Act for the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases in Human Beings (Infection Protection Act - IfSG) came into force nationwide. According to this, certain diseases/pathogens must be reported. Reportable diseases have been listed since 2002.</p> According to the law on prevention and control of infectious diseases, certain diseases/pathogens must be reported since January 1st, 2001. Notifiable diseases since 2002 are listed.</p> <p><em>Notes</em>:</p> <ul> <li>Reporting obligation since 2013: Whooping cough/pertussis, mumps, chickenpox</li> <li>Scabies has only appeared sporadically for 90 years. Increasing since 2017.</li> </ul>
