Previous studies have shown that endoribonucleases are mediate RNA processing and degradation in bacterial adaptation to environmental changes. They have also shown that the association with pathogenicity in S. Typhimurium. In this study, comparative transcriptomic analysis was performed on the S. Typhimurium SL1344 wild-type and its rnc (the gene encoding RNase III) gene mutant to determine the regulatory characteristics of the rnc gene in detail.
