Age-at-Death Analysis of Caprine mandibles from Neolithic Sites in Dalmatia

Description The .csv file contains the results of age-at-death analysis of sheep and goat tooth wear on mandibles recovered during archaeological excavations at Smilčić, Graduša Lokva-Islam Grčki, Benkovac-Barice, and Zemunik Donji. The results of these analyses were originally described by Triozzi (2024). This dataset accompanies the article "To Cull or Not to Cull? Using Population Projection Modeling to Reveal Risk-Sensitive Herd Culling Strategies in Neolithic Dalmatia" (Triozzi and McClure in prep). The file is used in the respository linked below to generate age-structured survivorship curves for sheep and goat herds.
