Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Manor Nursery, Thaxted Road, Wimbish, Essex, December 2023

This collection consists of images, reports, site record data and a vector graphic from an archaeological evaluation was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust. Work occurred at the former Manor nursery, Thaxted Road, Wimbish, Essex, in December 2023. The site lies on the road from Saffron Walden to the Debden barracks, south-west of the village of Wimbish. Excavations consisting of five trial-trenches, revealed three pits, two of which yielded prehistoric finds.
