Snow depth - snodep

The surface and tower meteorological instrumentation uses mainly conventional in situ sensors mounted on a tower to measure wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, dew point, and humidity. It also obtains barometric pressure, visibility, and precipitation data from sensors at or near the base of the tower. In addition, a chilled mirror hygrometer is used for comparison purposes.本地面与塔基气象观测系统主要采用安装于塔架的常规原位传感器（conventional in situ sensors），用以测量风速、风向、气温、露点及湿度。该系统还可通过塔基或塔基附近的传感器获取气压（barometric pressure）、能见度（visibility）与降水数据。此外，还配备冷镜式湿度计（chilled mirror hygrometer）以用于比对校准。
