Long-range M2 Internal Tides from Luzon Strait

The dataset and basic information on the M2 internal tides propgated form the Luzon Strait to Xisha Islands. The file list is as follows: Flux_M2.mat: Spatial distribution of the depth-integrated energy flux and propagation paths of the M2 internal tide f_mag_log.mat: Regional distribution of the energy flux magnitude (log10 scale). hom_transection.mat: Hovmöller diagram of the M2 baroclinic velocity along the propagation path. Ri_transection.mat: The Gradient Richardson Number along the transect. t_s_input.mat: Initial ocean stratification and validation of tidal level simulations. transection_uv_M2_ITray.mat: Vertical cross-sections of the M2 along-track baroclinic velocity and ray-tracing trajectories along the propagation path.
