Mycobacterium tuberculosis surveillance program by whole-genome sequencing in Caldas, Colombia

A surveillance program based on whole-genome sequencing in Caldas, Colombia, offers the first high-quality genomic data set of M. tuberculosis in the region. This project, since 2019, is providing information about circulating lineages, the molecular basis of antibiotic resistance, and clinical metadata in the context of the first regional public health program that incorporates genomic data to surveillance.
