Tailings Properties Database

A comprehensive database of physical, hydraulic, and geomechanical properties of tailings is presented, compiled from published studies and laboratory and field tests. The database brings together essential parameters—grain size distribution, Atterberg limits, density, permeability, consolidation, shear strength, stiffness and liquefaction indices—to support the assessment of tailings deposit behaviour and stability and the development of analytical and empirical models.
