The cave site Ilsenhöhle in Ranis, Germany contains layers with non-diagnostic tools, lithics from the transitional Lincombian-Ranisian-Jerzmanowician (LRJ) technocomplex, and the Upper Palaeothic. Sediment samples were collected across these layers. Here we present mapped sequencing data from libraries enriched for faunal mitochondrial (mt)DNA.
