AN INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL MODEL FOR DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES IN YOUNG ATHLETES
收藏资源简介:
The development of leadership competencies among young athletes has become an essential component of modern sports education and athlete development systems. Contemporary sport requires not only physically and technically skilled performers but also individuals capable of demonstrating responsibility, teamwork, communication, decision-making, emotional regulation, and social leadership. Traditional approaches to athlete preparation have predominantly focused on physical performance and competitive outcomes, while the systematic development of leadership qualities has often received insufficient attention. Therefore, the creation of innovative pedagogical models aimed at fostering leadership competencies among young athletes represents an important research direction in sports pedagogy. The proposed pedagogical model provides a comprehensive framework for coaches, physical education teachers, sports educators, and youth development specialists seeking to prepare future leaders within sporting environments. The integration of modern educational technologies and leadership-oriented training approaches can enhance not only athletic performance but also personal development, social responsibility, and lifelong learning among young athletes.
