The Integrated Geomorphic Information Dataset of Western China was developed by a team led by Dr. Xie Chuanjie from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. This dataset encompasses the 1:4,000,000-scale National Geomorphic Database of China and the 1:1,000,000-scale Geomorphic Database of Western China. The 1:4,000,000-scale geomorphic data was collected and compiled by tracing and organizing the *Geomorphic Map of China (1:4,000,000)* edited by Li Bingyuan and the *Geomorphic Map of China and Its Adjacent Areas (1:4,000,000)* edited by Chen Zhiming.
