Effects of experimental warming on soil microbial influence on plant growth

An in situ mesocosm was conducted to test the net effects of soil biota on the growth of plants (Elymus nutans, Poa annus) under field conditions. Plant biomass was compared between treatments using a sterilized substrate re-inoculated with either living or sterilized soil inoculum. Additionally, soil microbial communities were analyzed to explore their associations with plant growth.
