Metabolic gene Worm Perturb-seq

To understand the transcriptional rewiring of metabolism at systems-level, we applied Worm Perturb-seq (WPS) technology to collect the RNA-seq profiles of single metabolic gene knockdown in animal C. elegans. Genes were knocked down by RNA interference in the animal at L1 stage and the whole-animal RNA-seq data were collected at early gravid adult stage. This dataset covers triplicate profiles of 946 perturbations that targets 904 metabolic genes and a few other genes. The libraries were multiplexed following our WPS technology and each sequencing library (e.g., fastq file) contains roughly 50 samples corresponding to the biological triplicates of ~16 perturbations and six samples of empty vector controls.
