This study used RNA-seq to investigate the therapeutic mechanisms of SPX peptides in colitis. Colon tissues were collected from five groups of male mice: control, DSS-induced colitis, and DSS-induced colitis treated with SPX1, ggSPX2, or ggGAL peptides. Comparative transcriptomic analysis aims to identify gene expression changes and molecular pathways underlying the superior therapeutic efficacy of SPX peptides over GAL in inflammatory bowel disease.
