This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, plankton, and others taken by CTD and Niskin bottles from the schooner Tara at sample locations during world-wide cruise. Some casts were taken in US EEZ. The objective of Tara oceans mission, an international, multidisciplinary project, was to get a planetary-scale understanding of the ocean ecosystem, particularly in light of climate change and to assess the complexity of ocean life across comprehensive taxonomic and spatial scales.
