McMurdo Dry Valleys Soil Long Term Manipulation Experiment

A long-term soil manipulation experiment has been conducted as part of the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) project. The response of soil organisms (nematodes, rotifers and tardigrades) to the treatments is monitored by sampling soil on an annual basis.本项长期土壤操控实验作为麦克默多干谷（McMurdo Dry Valleys）长期生态学研究（Long Term Ecological Research, LTER）项目的组成部分实施。该实验通过年度土壤采样，监测土壤生物（线虫（nematodes）、轮虫（rotifers）及缓步动物（tardigrades））对各实验处理的响应。
