Raw data for the manuscript: 'Water-extractable organic matter in soils of an organic dairy farming crop rotation: drivers of content and quality'
收藏资源简介:
The water-extractable organic carbon (WEOC/WEOM) content and quality of soils on an organically managed dairy farm (Aumenau, Hesse, Germany) were assessed using specific UV absorption values SUVA254 and fluorescence indices (HIX, BIX, FI) from 2022 to 2024 in six sampling campaigns. The results were analysed in conjunction with meteorological data, soil and site characteristics, and management methods using mixed linear effect models. The raw data includes: concentration and content of water-soluble organic carbon, SUVA254, HIX, BIX, FI, soil texture, bulk density, pH, electrical conductivity, gamma radiation, slope, soil organic carbon, soil mineral nitrogen Nmin, air and soil temperature, precipitation, water content, and information on crops with sowing and harvesting times, tillage intensity, and cow manure application data. The data can be found with an explanation in ‘Water_extractable_orgC_controllingDrivers.xlsx’. The locations of the trial areas can be found in the geopaket ‘subplot_cropland.gpkg’.
