The cropland ETn and ETh data in China's Drylands form 2003 to 2019

This dataset provides annual natural evapotranspiration (ETn) and human-induced evapotranspiration (ETh) data for croplands across seven regions in China’s drylands from 2003 to 2019. The data are stored in GeoTIFF format with the WGS84 geographic coordinate system (EPSG:4326) and a spatial resolution of approximately 1 km. Each single-band Float32 file contains annual ETn or ETh values and is named according to the variable type and year (e.g., Cropland_ETn_2003.tif for natural evapotranspiration in 2003, Cropland_ETh_2003.tif for human-induced evapotranspiration in 2003). These data are generated using a data-driven ET decoupling model, which has been validated with an R² exceeding 0.8 across 35 basins in China’s drylands. This dataset is well-suited for regional-scale agro-hydrological analyses and agricultural water resource management.
