Vertical profiles of environmental parameters measured on discrete water samples collected with Niskin bottles at station TARA_113 during the Tara Oceans expedition 2009-2013

The Tara Oceans Expedition (2009-2013) was a global survey of ocean ecosystems aboard the Sailing Vessel Tara. It carried out extensive measurements of evironmental conditions and collected plankton (viruses, bacteria, protists and metazoans) for later analysis using modern sequencing and state-of-the-art imaging technologies. Tara Oceans Data are particularly suited to study the genetic, morphological and functional diversity of plankton. The present data set includes properties of seawater, particulate matter and dissolved matter that were measured from discrete water samples collected with Niskin bottles during the 2009-2013 Tara Oceans expedition. Properties include pigment concentrations from HPLC analysis (10 depths per vertical profile, 25 pigments per depth), the carbonate system (Surface and 400m; pH (total scale), CO2, pCO2, fCO2, HCO3, CO3, Total alkalinity, Total carbon, OmegaAragonite, OmegaCalcite, and dosage Flags), nutrients (10 depths per vertical profile; NO2, PO4, N02/NO3, SI, quality Flags), DOC, CDOM, and dissolved oxygen isotopes. The Service National d'Analyse des Paramètres Océaniques du CO2, at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, determined CT and AT potentiometrically. More than 200 vertical profiles of these properties were made across the world ocean. DOC, CDOM and dissolved oxygen isotopes are available only for the Arctic Ocean and Arctic Seas (2013).塔拉海洋考察（Tara Oceans Expedition，2009-2013年）是一场搭乘风帆塔拉号（Sailing Vessel Tara）开展的全球海洋生态系统调查项目。项目对海洋环境条件进行了广泛测量，并采集了浮游生物样本（涵盖病毒、细菌、原生生物及后生动物），后续将通过现代测序技术与顶尖成像技术开展分析。塔拉海洋数据集尤其适用于研究浮游生物的遗传、形态与功能多样性。本次数据集包含2009-2013年塔拉海洋考察期间，通过尼斯金采水瓶（Niskin bottles）采集的离散海水样本所测得的海水、颗粒物及溶解物相关参数。具体参数包括：通过高效液相色谱（HPLC）分析得到的色素浓度（每个垂直剖面设置10个采样深度，每个深度可检测25种色素）；碳酸盐系统参数（覆盖表层及400米水深，包含总尺度pH、CO₂、CO₂分压（pCO₂）、CO₂逸度（fCO₂）、碳酸氢根（HCO₃⁻）、碳酸根（CO₃²⁻）、总碱度、总有机碳、文石饱和指数（OmegaAragonite）、方解石饱和指数（OmegaCalcite）以及剂量标记（dosage Flags））；营养盐参数（每个垂直剖面设置10个采样深度，包含亚硝酸盐（NO₂）、磷酸盐（PO₄）、亚硝酸盐/硝酸盐（NO₂/NO₃）、硅酸盐（SI）以及质控标记（quality Flags））；此外还包含溶解有机碳（DOC）、有色溶解有机物（CDOM）与溶解氧同位素数据。法国皮埃尔和玛丽居里大学（Université Pierre et Marie Curie）下属的海洋二氧化碳参数分析国家服务中心（Service National d'Analyse des Paramètres Océaniques du CO2）采用电位滴定法测定了总碳（CT）与总碱度（AT）。本次考察在全球海洋范围内完成了200余条垂直剖面参数测量。其中，溶解有机碳、有色溶解有机物以及溶解氧同位素数据仅可从北冰洋及北极海域（2013年采集批次）获取。
