Slocum glider deployed by the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) in the Coral Sea in July 2013 (Glider085_TS13)

This dataset represents Slocum glider data collected by Glider085 deployed in the Coral Sea, adjacent to Shoalwater Bay, during Exercise Talisman Saber in July - August 2013.

Slocum glider data from the oceans around Australia have been collected by DSTO on an ongoing basis. The data are obtained from an onboard suite of instruments which currently is a Seabird-SBE41 CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, Depth) only.

The variables in this datasets are water temperature, conductivity and salinity.

本数据集收录了2013年7月至8月“护身军刀”演习（Exercise Talisman Saber）期间，部署于毗邻肖特沃特湾（Shoalwater Bay）的珊瑚海（Coral Sea）海域的Glider085号斯洛克姆滑翔机（Slocum glider）所采集的观测数据。
长期以来，澳大利亚国防科学技术局（Defence Science and Technology Organisation, DSTO）一直在持续收集澳大利亚周边海域的斯洛克姆滑翔机观测数据。本次采集的数据仅来自滑翔机搭载的一套仪器套件，即当前使用的海鸟SBE41型温盐深仪（CTD，Conductivity, Temperature, Depth，电导率、温度、深度）。
本数据集包含的观测变量为海水温度、电导率与盐度。
