Limpets Reproductive Master Dataset (1946–2019): Northeast Atlantic Patella spp.

This dataset compiles historical and contemporary reproductive biology records of intertidal limpets (Patella spp.) across the northeastern Atlantic Ocean from 1946 to 2019. It represents one of the most comprehensive digitised syntheses of limpet gonad-stage data currently available for this region. The dataset integrates spatial, temporal, demographic, and reproductive-stage data for five species: Patella vulgata Patella depressa Patella ulyssiponensis Patella rustica Patella aspera Data were collated from peer-reviewed literature, historical monitoring programs, digitised figures, and contemporary surveys. Geographic coverage spans 10 countries and 24 regions along a latitudinal gradient from Norway to Portugal.
