Original data for paper: Insights into the Influence of Three Types of Sugar on Goose Fatty Liver Formation from Proliferation

To investigate the effects of different types of sugars on goose fatty liver formation from proliferation, liver transcriptome analysis and goose primary hepatocyte culture were carried out. The results showed that fructose had better promotion for lipid accumulation in the livers of overfed geese. Liver transcriptome analysis indicated that dietary supplementation with 10% glucose up-regulated the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) involved in cell growth and proliferation, and screened out the most interesting gene - Carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 1A (CPT1A).In conclusion, glucose promoted the growth and proliferation, fructose showed stronger pro-steatosis ability in goose liver.
