Madagascar (2008): FoQus Study on Segmentation of IUD Users

PSI seeks to gain an in-depth understanding of women of reproductive age (15-49) throughout Madagascar and who may be interested in long term methods of family planning. No TRaC study has been conducted with this group as the number of users is so low that sampling is not feasible, and little is known about what motivates women to choose IUDs or , choose a provider, and their opportunity, ability, and motivation (OAM) related to long term methods. PSI will use the results of this FoQus on Segmentation study to develop and brand a new behavior change communication campaign promoting long term methods and particular providers, to train providers and to determine whether packaging of the products is required.
