This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of green chemistry approaches to the purification of harmful gases emitted by industrial enterprises. Industrial gases are considered as the main sources of atmospheric pollution, and their negative impact on the ecological balance and human health is highlighted. Within the framework of the study, modern methods such as adsorption, catalytic purification, photocatalysis, biological purification and membrane technologies are evaluated based on the principles of green chemistry. The importance of factors such as waste reduction, energy efficiency and the use of renewable resources is also substantiated. The article also considers the prospects for innovative materials, including nanotechnology-based adsorbents and catalysts. In conclusion, it is concluded that the introduction of environmentally friendly and cost-effective technologies for the purification of industrial gases is an important factor in sustainable development.
