Aerosol and meteorological data from a the EERL Helikite in February 2024 in Turtmann, Switzerland

The dataset presented here originates from a field deployment of a tethered balloon, called EERL Helikite, in Turtmann, Switzerland. This dataset includes the recorded variables, details of the instruments deployed during the campaign, and the corresponding data processing steps. Measurements focused on aerosol and meteorological parameters along vertical profiles. A total of 12 flights during February 2024 provided aerosol number size distributions ranging from 8 nm to 3370 nm, along with vertical thermodynamic measurements. All variables were time-synchronized, quality-controlled, and corrected to Standard Temperature and Pressure (STP) when applicable.
