Estimation of Fertility in Urban Muslims

In this paper, an attempt is made to project the fertility trends among urban Muslims Women of reproductive age group 15-44 years through estimation of fertility measures such as Crude Birth Rate (CBR), Age Specific Fertility Rate (ASFR), Total Fertility Rate (TFR) and Gross Reproductive Rate (GRR) from the data obtained on fertility survey of 300 sample Muslim households of particularly Azamgarh city situated in Eastern part of U.P. (India).
