Car use for personal trips and errands in most Nordic capitals has increased from before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to post-pandemic, as a June 2022 has shown. Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo have all seen a slight increase in the use of cars as a primary transport mode. Copenhagen, meanwhile, bucks the trend and has seen a slight decrease in car use.
