Kingston Town Centre Area Action Plan

An Area Action Plan (AAP) is a Development Plan Document (DPD) that provides specific planning policy and guidance for an area where significant regeneration or investment needs to be managed. AAPs address the specific challenges of an area and to specify the required land uses in particular locations and identify key strategic interventions. AAPs have a strong focus on delivery and implementation, and form a statutory component of the Local Development Framework (LDF). This is the boundary of Kingston Town Centre for the purposes of applying planning policy set out within the Kingston Town Centre Area Action Plan (adopted July 2008).区域行动计划（Area Action Plan, AAP）是一类开发规划文件（Development Plan Document, DPD），专为需开展大规模城市更新或管控重大投资的特定区域制定专项规划政策与指导细则。此类计划可针对性解决区域面临的特定挑战，明确特定区位的法定土地使用要求，并识别关键战略干预举措。区域行动计划高度聚焦落地实施环节，同时是地方发展框架（Local Development Framework, LDF）的法定组成部分。本范围为金斯顿镇中心的划定边界，适用于《金斯顿镇中心区域行动计划（2008年7月获批）》中载明的各项规划政策。
