UFPR-ADMR

The UFPR-ADMR Dataset is a publicly available dataset developed by the School of Information, Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, specifically tailored for research on automatic reading of dial-type meters. This dataset consists of 2000 images captured by employees of Copel using smartphone cameras in uncontrolled real-world environments. Each image in the dataset is annotated with the position of the dial meter, which supports the development and evaluation of novel automatic meter reading methods. The dataset is primarily utilized to address automation issues in traditional mechanical meter reading, especially across the power, water supply, and natural gas industries, to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of meter reading operations.
