Analysis and characterization of polygons of urban insecurity through perception surveys and urban information systems

Spatial representation of the citizen's perception of insecurity, in medium-sized cities in Mexico. The spatial dimension of this research is the city of San Luis Potosi, with results of analysis of general population surveys, obtained in the period 2012-2013, at the level of basic geostatistical areas (BGA), urban georeferenced, and with the support of a geographic information system; data are represented in polygons more prone to insecurity city. The work undertaken and the results must match with the proposal of the United Nations, the Human Security Program (2009) pointing at the first of its phases: analysis, mapping and planning本数据集聚焦墨西哥中型城市市民不安全感感知的空间表征。本研究的空间研究单元为圣路易斯波托西市，分析结果源自2012-2013年间开展的全人口问卷调查，以经过城市地理参考的基本地统计区域（Basic Geostatistical Areas，BGA）为统计单元，并依托地理信息系统完成分析；最终以多边形图层形式呈现该市治安风险高发区域的相关数据。本研究的实施流程与所得结果均契合联合国人类安全计划（2009）第一阶段的核心要求：分析、制图与规划。
