资源简介:
The research explored how traditional Chaouia-Shawiyyah Amazigh art forms promote peace and reconciliation within the Chaouia-Shawiyyah community. It also sought to understand how these practices can foster inter-communal dialogue across Algeria linguistic communities. The research engaged nine participants from the Chaouia-Shawiyyah community in Ain Beida, Oum El-Bouaghi Province, including elders, artists, and educators, all of whom were knowledgeable about traditional practices and their transmission across generations. The data captured emphasises the role of traditional art forms in fostering peace and resolving conflicts. It highlights how these practices serve as informal educational tools to instil communal values, facilitate dialogue, and preserve cultural identity.
