The impact of environmental changes on the gills of penaeus vannamei

This study investigates the impact of transitioning between biofloc and circulating clear-water systems on whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus vannamei). Shrimp were initially cultured in biofloc or clear-water systems and then transitioned to the opposite environment, with comparisons made against shrimp reared continuously in a single system. The study focuses on the effects of environmental changes on shrimp gill function.
