We discovered that using the c-Abl inhibitor Dasatinib significantly reduces the growth rate of glioma cells in the U87 cell line. To further explore the specific effects of Dasatinib on glioma cells, we treated U87 cells with 500 nM Dasatinib for 24 hours, along with a control group. Cells from both groups were collected for RNA sequencing to analyze the impact of Dasatinib on glioma cell gene expression profiles.
