VPRS 8872 In-Committee Minutes

This series consists of volumes containing minutes of " In Committee" Meetings of the Geelong Regional Commission (GRC) (VA 426) created during the period 1977 to 1993.The GRC at its meetings would pass a resolution to go into committee to discuss subjects which required to be discussed in "". The "In Committee" resolutions were confirmed at the Commission meetings located in VPRS 8869. The minutes of the Commission meetings recorded its resolution to go into committee, subjects discussed and the "In Committee" resolutions confirmed.The subjects discussed during "In Committee" meetings were minuted and maintained separately from the minutes of meetings of the Commission. The subjects discussed related to various issues eg. legal proceedings in connection with planning prosecutions, staff appointments, crown solicitor's opinion sought on attendance of Substitute Commission Members during Commission "In Committee" discussions etc.
