We performed high-throughput RNA sequencing to determine the transcriptional changes of infertile crescent (ifc) mutants as compared to wild-type controls in the dissected CNS in Drosophila melanogaster. Overall design: We dissected and extracted RNA from 20-30 CNS of third instar larve for wild type or ifc mutant per sample, with five total samples per experimental group.
