West Flank Bottom Pressure Recorder Deployed 2016-06-21

The NRCan Bottom Pressure Recorder B8 was deployed on 2016-06-21 at West Flank. West Flank is a location at Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vents, hydrothermal systems, and vent communities are observed. This device is a Bottom Pressure Recorder. Bottom Pressure Recorders (BPR) are instruments that can detect small changes in pressure on the seafloor. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
