Determination of Antibiotic Susceptibility Profiles and Molecular Characterization of Aerococcus viridans Agents Isolated from Clinical and Subclinical Mastitis Cases in Dairy Cattle in the Aegean Region

In mastitis milk samples, the presence of A. viridans will be investigated and the susceptibility status of these bacteria, identified with the Vitek identification system, to various antibiotics will be examined by phenotypic methods. At the same time, sequence analyses of isolates selected from strains showing high antimicrobial resistance will be performed and various virulence properties and antimicrobial resistance genes will be identified by molecular and bioinformatic analyses.
