The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Flood Proxy Maps (FPMs) covering Bangladesh due to heavy rains in August 2023. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency.
