This study performed whole-genome sequencing on ten mutant strains, M1-M10. M1-M10 were derived from Helicobacter pylori 26695 modA-modB-modD operon deletion mutants, which exhibit defects in biofilm formation. After 15 generations of continuous induction with 50 uM H2O2, ten single colonies, M1-M10, were selected and cultured for an additional 5 generations. The results showed that the biofilm phenotype of M1-M10 was restored. The study aims to explore the genomic adaptation of these mutant strains under oxidative stress conditions.
