DBTR2013 - Volumetric unit - (UVL_GPG)
The surface of each building is divided into volumetric units by dividers, or lines of separation between elements of different height and homogeneous plan. Volumetric parts are those that are significant for the purpose of volumetric quantification of the building structure regardless of the inclination and conformation of the roof pitches. The volumetric parts of buildings must be represented if the differences in eaves height are greater than the permissible altimetric tolerance, with the following exclusions: altars, dormers, skylights, terraces obtained in the aquifer, chimneys, chimneys on the roofs and any other element not directly connected with the volume of the building and such as not to identify a building body from sky to earth differentiable from the adjacent ones. Technical volumes protruding from the shape of the roof (elevator compartments, stairwells, central and technological compartments, etc.) should also be excluded if they do not constitute a distinct and autonomous building body.
