资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide and ammonium made by Andy Watson and Peter Williams during the RRS Discovery 192 research cruise in the North Atlantic as part of the Biogeochemical Ocean Flux Study (BOFS). The cruise began on 12th June 1990 and ended on 24th June 1990 with a spatial coverage of +47N and +48N latitude and +16W and +17W longitude.
The data set consists of:
-46 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column by gas chromatography;
-60 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by coulometry; and
-13 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by colorimetric autoanalysis.
See below for further details.
