SUPPORTING LOW-ACHIEVING CADETS IN LEARNING ENGLISH: EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE ACQUISITION

In the context of military education, foreign language proficiency—particularly in English—has become an essential component of professional competence. However, a significant number of cadets demonstrate low achievement in learning English due to psychological, methodological, and motivational factors. This article analyzes the main reasons behind cadets’ low performance in English and proposes effective pedagogical strategies to enhance their foreign language learning outcomes. The study is based on theoretical analysis, observation, and synthesis of modern foreign language teaching methodologies. The results indicate that the application of differentiated instruction, communicative approaches, and motivational techniques significantly improves learning effectiveness among low-achieving cadets.
