The uneven energy distribution and economic development levels of the countries in the ASEAN region have led to the uncoordinated distribution of high-energy-consuming industries in the region. It is extremely important to obtain timely and objective high-energy-intensive industries. In this paper, 375m high spatial and temporal resolution NPP-VIIRS active fire point data and vector data density segmentation algorithms were used. Then，high-energy-intensive industries dataset in the ASEAN region between 2012 and 2021 were produced. This dataset provides information such as latitude and longitude of industrial heat sources data, administrative region to which they belong, and the year of starting and ending operation, etc. It can support the region's energy distribution and economic development, as well as its cooperation and development with China.
