Ancestral sequences of Sus scrofa (including domestic pigs and wild boars)

The ancestral sequences of the species described by the domestic pig and wild boar, Sus scrofa, were reconstructed via whole-genome alignment of the family Suidae and validation with resequencing data. This ancestral sequence can be used for statistical detection of selective signal scan in population genetic analysis of pigs, as well as polarization for the neutral genetic background and ancestral alleles in population demographic inference. The high-confidence ancestral alleles are in uppercase, the low-confidence in lowercase, and uncertain positions in "-", n, or N.
