Cultivation area for jute and mesta across Bihar in India FY 2005-2023

The cultivation area of raw jute and mesta in the eastern state of Bihar in India was estimated to be about 60 thousand hectares in fiscal year 2023. An overall significant decrease in the cultivation area was seen over the years from financial year 2012.
